Lana DeAngelis is the Head of HR at ModeX, leading overall people operations and talent optimization strategy, employee experience and development, and business partner functions.
She is driven by the impact that happens when employees, teams and companies champion each other’s fullest potential, and is committed to fostering a culture that values real collaboration, diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and inclusion.
Lana has been building top-in-class teams at innovative and fast-growing organizations for nearly 20 years. She spent 16 years at global education firm EF Education First, where she held many roles including: Vice President of People Operations, Vice President of Recruitment & Employee Development and Vice President of Customer Experience. In recent work at EF, Lana designed and delivered a new onboarding program that was adopted across business units, spearheaded the employee-centric process of creating and operationalizing core values for a growing division and provided 1:1 as well as group coaching for managers and leaders at all levels. Throughout her career, she has developed creative solutions to needs that span the employee journey and has designed talent strategies to directly serve business goals and fuel organizational success.
Lana has a B.A. in English literature & writing and a minor in peace & justice studies from Boston College. She has also earned a Predictive Index Practitioner and Coach certification.
