Eva Gutierrez

Eva Gutierrez, Ph.D., is Head of Immuno-Oncology at ModeX Therapeutics, where she leads immuno-oncology research and advances immune-based therapeutic programs from discovery through preclinical development. She has extensive experience in immunology, immuno-oncology drug development, multispecific biologics, cytokine-based platforms, and translational medicine strategy.

Prior to joining ModeX, Dr. Gutierrez held scientific leadership roles at Leap Therapeutics, Dragonfly Therapeutics, and Bayer HealthCare, where she led discovery and preclinical oncology programs and helped advance immunotherapy candidates toward clinical development. She earned her Ph.D. in Tumor Immunology through a collaborative program between the German Cancer Research Center and the University of Heidelberg and completed postdoctoral research at the German Cancer Research Center and Bayer HealthCare.
